Water Wars Turns Banpo Into A Giant Splash Zone

Hundreds armed with water guns drenched each other at Seoul’s Banpo Hangang Park on Sunday, launching the autumn season of the Car-Free Jamsugyo Bridge Festival.

Around 800 people joined ‘Jamsugyo Water Wars’, a huge water-gun battle staged on the park’s riverside stage. Footage shows participants blasting each other with water guns, racing through the venue and dancing under sprays of water.

Families Enjoy A Summer-Like Escape

First-time visitor Chan Uk Park said: “It really felt like we were enjoying our last summer vacation. I think we’ll be heading home with some great memories with the kids.”
