A post on SIA’s social media accounts listed the eight affected flights, four from Singapore to London Heathrow and four in the opposite direction.
Three of the four flights from Singapore had already departed, and two were diverted to other European airports.
SQ322, which departed Singapore on Mar. 20 2025, was diverted to Frankfurt Airport in Germany and, according to FlightAware.com, landed at 12:47 pm Singapore time.
SQ306 departed Singapore on Mar. 21 2025 and was diverted to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France, landing at 3:23 pm Singapore time.

Four flights from London Heathrow to Singapore, including SQ305, SQ317, SQ319, and SQ321, all scheduled to leave on Mar. 21, were also cancelled.
SIA said that it would contact affected customers to inform them about changes to their flights.
It also warned that the situation “remains fluid” and that other similar flights might be affected.
SIA advised customers to check their flight status website for more information, as well as advising them to update their contact details.
The backup is on fire
The diversions and cancellations were caused by a fire at an electrical substation.
