Red Dot United (RDU) has confirmed the team contesting Holland-Bukit Timah GRC.
They are Fazli Talip, Sharad Kumar, Patrick Tan, and Nizar Subair.
The announcement was made on Apr. 18 near Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre.
Fazli (43), Sharad (25), and Tan (70) were previously introduced on Apr. 10 as team leaders for RDU's Holland-Bukit Timah team.
Nizar, 57, rounds out the team that will be challenging the People's Action Party (PAP) team anchored by Vivian Balakrishnan.
Candidates
Nizar is an operations manager in the marine services industry, who had lost his job during the pandemic. He had to then work two jobs to make ends meet.
Fazli is a financial consultant, and a CPF volunteer, who stood in the 2011 general election for WP as a candidate for East Coast GRC.
He then joined the National Solidarity Party (NSP), and was a member of its central executive committee. However, he resigned from NSP just before the 2015 general election.
He has been a "steady volunteer" with RDU for the past five years.
Sharad is an assistant engineer who graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Tan is a businessman who started his own SME 15 years ago, and was also one of the pioneers in introducing adult diapers to Singapore.
