He took part in an RDU walkabout.

Former Reform Party  candidate M Ravi was spotted at a Red Dot United (RDU) walkabout in Fernvale on March 21, 2025.

In response to questions from the media, Ravi said he would be volunteering with RDU for the upcoming general election.

He also said he is "definitely" not a candidate for the Reform Party.

Walkabout

RDU conducted a walkabout at Fernvale, speaking to residents at Seletar Mall and Fernvale Community Club.

The area falls within the bounds of the newly-created Jalan Kayu SMC, as recommended by the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC) report.

Jalan Kayu's current MP is PAP's Ng Ling Ling, who entered politics in 2020.

Ravi was one of the volunteers, wearing an RDU volunteer tag.

He accompanied other RDU members like Ravi Philemon and  Kala Manickam, who was unveiled as a "groundwork leader" for RDU in Jalan Kayu, and was seen handing out flyers and interacting with residents.

During a doorstop interview, Ravi shared that he was born in Jalan Kayu and currently lives there.

"I would like to pledge my support to RDU during this limited period of time and given my work commitments," he added.

In response to a question from Mothership, Ravi said he would not be standing as a candidate for the Reform Party in the upcoming election.

"Definitely, no," he said.
