IOI City Mall Kuala Lumpur
If you thought VivoCity was big, wait till you go to Kuala Lumpur (KL) – they’re home to IOI City Mall, the largest mall in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, and the 3rd largest in the world. To put things in perspective, IOI City Mall is almost 6 times the size of VivoCity, the biggest mall on our island.
With more than 700 shops, an Olympic-sized ice skating rink, a rooftop sports centre, and even an indoor urban wildlife park, here’s a roundup of what you shouldn’t miss in this Putrajaya mall.

Where is IOI City Mall?
IOI City Mall is not technically found in Kuala Lumpur itself, but in Putrajaya, Selangor, about an hour’s drive south of KL.
How to get to IOI City Mall?
The most convenient way to get there from central KL would be to call yourself a Grab if you’re not driving.
Otherwise, from KL Sentral, you’ll want to take the ERL Laluan KLIA Transit to Putrajaya Sentral, or the KTM Laluan Batu Caves – Pulau Sebang line to Pulau Sebang.
From either of these stations, you’ll have to hop on bus service T523. The bus departs every hour from 6am at MRT Putrajaya Sentral, and 6.30am from KTM Serdang.
The last bus from IOI City Mall to KTM Serdang is at 9.30pm, and the last bus to MRT Putrajaya Sentral is at 10pm. All of the bus trips are approximately 30 minutes long each way.
