SINGAPORE – The annual Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix is not only a feast of speed and excitement, but also a gathering of local and foreign stars.

Among them was Singaporean actor Desmond Tan, who met Singaporean singer JJ Lin at the event.

“All smiles during my first F1 pit lane experience,” Tan wrote on social media early on Oct 5, sharing a video of his experience. “I smiled until my mouth went numb.”

The 39-year-old posted again later that day. “As an F1 fan, this is the ultimate dream,” the Strike Gold (2023) actor wrote. “Walking the pit lane and the Walk of Fame... These are the moments I always watch on my screen and fantasise about.”

Teh, a host of online variety show #JustSwipeLah, added: “Haha, just kidding. But seriously, what an incredible night.”

Zhang, 32, who was with actress Sheryl Ang in one of the photos, wrote on Oct 4: “Could not have asked for a better experience watching F1 for the first time. Unblocked view from our sky suites with free-flow food and drinks, topped with Paddock Club access.”
