A Lifetime of Sacrifice

For many years, Kamarzaman bin Ibrahim worked hard to support his family through changing circumstances and financial challenges. Speaking to Malaysian media outlet WeirdKaya, his son, Muhammad Amirul Adam bin Kamarzaman, shared the story of a father who never stopped providing for his loved ones, even when life became difficult.

Kamarzaman began working at the age of 27 as a factory supervisor. For 23 years he continued to serve in this role until the factory closed finally. At that time, he earned about RM4,000 (approximately SGD 1,220) per month. After losing the job, he accepted work as a security guard, earning around RM1,200 (approximately SGD 365) monthly. Despite the large decline in income, he continued supporting his wife and children without complaint.

Taking Every Opportunity

According to Amirul, his father later worked in parcel delivery using a 2008 Myvi Ezi 1.3 car. On weekends, he collected coconuts and sold them to earn extra income. The family often saw him leave early and return late because he regularly worked overtime.
