Best gimbap spots in Singapore
Back in my uni days in Seoul, gimbap was my go-to meal between lectures. These Korean seaweed rice rolls may look simple, but each bite is packed with flavour and filling ingredients. If you love them as much as I do, here’s our guide to the best gimbap spots in Singapore.
1. Seoul Bunsik
True gimbap fans would have heard of Seoul Bunsik, conveniently located at Funan Mall. If you’re here mainly for the rice rolls, choose from five flavours: Original, Kimchi, Tuna, and Spam Cheese, all priced from $13.80 each, and the Veg, which starts at $12.80. You can also opt for either a half or a whole roll, depending on your appetite. That said, we recommend going for one of their lunch sets for better value. Set C ($16.90) stands out as the best deal, featuring half a gimbap roll alongside spicy rice cake, fried chicken, and Korean fish cake.
